Initiatives for SDGs

So far, we have conducted demonstration experiments using the marine floating garbage collector SEABIN. At Marushima Fishing Port in Minamata City, Kumamoto Prefecture, Matsuai Fishing Port in Uki City, Kumamoto Prefecture, and Fukue Island in Goto City, Nagasaki Prefecture, we participated in beach cleanups with local high school students and set up SEABINs at Fukue Port for several days to help local residents and high school students. We have been promoting SEABIN by talking about the importance of the sea and marine debris. Marine litter and microplastics have become a major problem worldwide, and action must be taken to resolve them. Our company will continue to make efforts to solve problems based on the concept of "leaving a clean sea for future children".
