SEABIN changes the future

SUSTAINABLE JAPAN

Contributing to the sustainable development of the global environment

Plastics are found everywhere in our lives. However, much of it is “disposable” and ends up in the ocean without proper disposal. As a result, many marine organisms are damaged, injured, and dead. In addition, plastic generates greenhouse gases such as methane, the concentration of which is 25 times that of carbon dioxide, and plastic floating in the sea is a factor in accelerating global warming. there is. In order to realize a sustainable earth, we must achieve a circular economy as soon as possible. Our company is currently collecting marine debris with SEABIN, a marine floating garbage collector, and is conducting activities to popularize SEABIN in Japan.

The period from May 30th (Zero Litter Day) to June 8th (World Oceans Day) will be designated as Marine Litter Zero Week, and all of Japan will work together to take action to reduce marine litter. Do not litter, do not throw litter, pick up litter. This natural behavior is the pride of Japan and serves as a model for the rest of the world. And the actions of each individual will lead to protecting the future of the ocean. Take action now. From Japan to the world, let's realize the challenge of changing the future of the ocean.

"Marine plastic waste" that flows into the sea through rivers without being collected due to littering etc. is generated every day.
"Marine plastic waste", which is generated in large amounts every day throughout the world, remains in the sea for a long time and is expected to exceed the weight of fish by 2050, raising concerns about environmental pollution on a global scale. In order to solve these problems, it is important for all actors, including individuals, companies, organizations, and governments, to make efforts in their respective positions and to deal wisely with plastics. In order to support and further expand such efforts, the Ministry of the Environment is implementing

"Plastic Smart" campaign. Our Seabin efforts are also posted.

社長挨拶
Message from the President

Our company was founded with my desire to "leave a beautiful ocean for our future children." We initially started by selling and leasing the marine floating garbage collector SEABIN, and in 2023 we began manufacturing and selling the "SEETHLIVER," a floating garbage collector for drainage channels, which was developed to solve problems unique to Japan. Our activities are directly linked to the desire to clean up the ocean. However, as we continued our activities, we realized something. Our business is a "business with zero economic value." This collector does not generate "economic value = profits." However, it can collect microplastics and other debris that flow into the ocean. Although it is not economical, it can contribute to the environment and the future.

In order to popularize this "zero economic efficiency" business, we have struggled and interacted with many different people, and one approach we have found is to take on the "zero economic efficiency" business model.By working together with companies that share the same cause and purpose and provide "economically efficient" products and services, we can turn the economic efficiency generated from this into opportunities, and achieve both environmental protection and sustainable business.

Our efforts are focused on addressing environmental issues while also placing importance on the economic aspect. Through the sale of SEABIN and SEETHLIVER, we strive to achieve both environmental friendliness and economic benefits, and to encourage more people to participate in our efforts. We are proud of our mission to continue protecting a clean ocean for the children of the future, and will continue to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society by improving our technology and taking on new initiatives.
