Protecting the future of our oceans begins with the awareness of each and every one of us.
SEETHLIVER
"Seas River" floating garbage collector for drainage channels
SEABIN
Our company developed the floating garbage collector "SEETHLIVER" for irrigation and drainage channels. It is said that 80% of marine garbage comes from the cities where we live, and we developed it with the aim of collecting that garbage before it flows into the sea. Garbage that flows into the sea becomes difficult to collect, which makes marine pollution more serious. Garbage that is produced on land is collected on land. We believe that doing so will contribute to the problem of marine garbage. In addition, the membrane of the coated fertilizer used in rice cultivation is made of plastic, and there is a serious problem that the membrane flows into irrigation channels, passes through rivers, and flows into the sea. The membrane of the coated fertilizer is small, measuring mm, and when it flows into the sea, it becomes difficult to collect it. By installing SEETHLIVER in irrigation and drainage channels, it collects the household garbage and the membrane of the coated fertilizer at the same time, contributing to solving the problem of marine garbage. "We may not be able to make the sea 100% clean in the future, but we want to make it even 1% clean." SEETHLIVER is a device filled with the thoughts of our representative, Higashihama.

Marine pollution

Human waste flows into irrigation and drainage channels, but another problem is that coated fertilizer films flow into the sea. Coated fertilizers are fertilizers whose surfaces are covered with plastic so that the amount of fertilizer components that leach out can be controlled. They are widely used, mainly in rice cultivation, as they reduce the labor required for fertilization and the amount of fertilizer applied. Coated fertilizers are very fine, measuring 2 to 5 mm, so if they flow into the sea, they are difficult to collect. However, by installing this device at the most downstream point of irrigation and drainage channels, they can be prevented from flowing into the sea.
Preventing coated fertilizer from leaking into the ocean

"SEETHLIVER" does not generate "economic viability = profits". However, it can collect household waste and microplastics that flow into the ocean. Although it is not economical, it can contribute to the environment and the future. In order to popularize a "zero economic viability" business, we struggled and interacted with various people, and one form we found was the challenge of a "zero economic viability" business model. "SEETHLIVER" is the symbol of this challenge.
SEETHLIVER STORY

The future we aim for
The future we are aiming for is one in which we can leave a beautiful ocean for the next generation. To achieve this, we need global awareness and action. We are currently working seriously to address the various challenges facing the marine environment on Earth, and are working hard to leave a beautiful ocean for the children of the future.
The preservation of marine biodiversity and healthy ecosystems is at the heart of our mission. We will take concrete steps to address marine pollution issues such as plastic waste and chemical emissions, and act with sincerity to protect the oceans and address marine debris issues. This will help ensure that future generations can enjoy the ocean.
Furthermore, in order to minimize the effects of global warming and ensure that marine ecosystems can continue to exist in a stable state, we are focusing on promoting the use of renewable energy and implementing emission reduction measures. By mitigating the effects of climate change and minimizing the negative effects of rising sea temperatures and sea levels, we will provide a more stable future for future generations. We will continue to spare no effort in building a future in which we coexist in harmony with nature. We will leave a clear mark with our own efforts now so that the beautiful ocean will be a treasure for future generations.
